Have Garage Sale Items but don't want to go to the trouble of having a garage sale? If so call Dawn Lorenzen at 712-655-3624 and donate your items to the Healthcare Foundation's Highway 141 garage sale. Item are needed by Wednesday August 4th. You can deliver or we will come pick them up! If you don't have any items to donate then come out to 3646 Highway 141, Manilla (1 mile west of ASpinwall) to our garage sale on Friday August 6th from 8 to 4:30 or Saturday August 7th from 8 to 3 and buy a treasure!

2010-2011 Scholarship Programs have come to a close.
The WCIHF is no longer accepting applications for the scholarship programs for the 2010-2011 school year.
Committees will be receiving the applications soon and the awards will be going out after May 1st. Check back to see who was awarded scholarships for the 2010-2011 school year!
Scholarship applications continue to be available online , however the WCIHF Scholarship application is currently under review for the 2011-2012 year. Applications will be accepted for next year starting on February 1, 2011 through March 31, 2011. Click HERE to go to our Scholarship information page.

Recycling program is an easy way to help the Foundation! - Help the environment while you benefit Healthcare!
You can help the environement AND the Foundation by recycling your used inkjet cartridges, cell phones, iPods, and pdas. Drop off locations include the Manning regional Healthcare Center, Manning Family Healthcare Clinic, Vonnahme Chiropractic, First National Bank and State Farm Insurance.

Just go to Goodshop.com and use their links to shop on behalf of the West Central Iowa Healthcare Foundation. The merchants will give a donation to the Foundation...there are over 400 stores to chose from!
WCIHF Receives Grant & Helps Secure Grant for IKM-Manning Schools!
The Foundation received notice that the Lampe Trust has granted $1,800 to help with the Pet Therapy Program at the Manning Plaza. WCIHF Staff also assisted the IKM-Manning Middle School to secure a DeCat grant in order to provide students with alternative activities and assist with the PAUD Coalition Recreation Program.
IKM-Manning Wolves Continue to shine! Show your support and purchase an IKM-Manning Wolves Window Cling!
You can support education and healthcare by supporting the IKM-Manning Wolves! Buy a IKM-Manning Wolves window cling to put in your car window, house window or the window of your business to show your support for our school. Funds will go to support equipment purchases for the IKM-Manning middle school and high school nurses and to support the WCIHF scholarship program. Clings are 3"x11 1/2" and cost $5 each. They can be purchased at the Foundation Office, Manning Pharmacy, & Horizon Equipment in Manning, Tiny's Grocery & the Manilla Country Store in Manilla, and the Irwin Country Store in Irwin.
