Speedway to scholarships "Fun"raiser

The first annual "Speedway to Scholarships 'Fun'raiser" was held March 29, 2009. We watched Jimmie Johnson win the Martinsville Race. Food and fun ruled the day! Door prizes were given to everyone attending. Dan Lorenzen was the lucky winner of the tickets to the Iowa Speedway & gas card. Several people walked away with one of a kind autographed memorabilia from  the likes of Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt Jr. through our silent auction. Overall we raised over $1,700 for the WCIHF Scholarship program, which benefits area individuals who are seeking careers in the health care field. 

Thanks to all who participated in our Fundraiser. We are looking towards next year with a hope to hold the event for the Daytona 500 in February 2010!
